I grew up in Tacoma WA and moved to Bellingham 2007 to attend college. After completing my AA at Whatcom CC, I transferred to UW, and later graduated from Antioch University Seattle with a bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts with a concentration in Spiritual Studies. My long term goal is to open a retreat center for people to find some peace amidst whatever struggles they may be going through, to heal and focus their attention on themselves, reconnect with nature, and maybe make some new friends.
I joined Performance Physical Therapy in 2018 as a Physical Therapy Aide. My personal experience in recovering from my own injuries has inspired me to continue my education in the field of Physical Therapy. In the coming months, I will be applying to the PTA program at Whatcom CC. My journey to heal continues and I look forward to the opportunity to work in an environment where I can make a difference and help others on their own journey through healing.
Outside of work, I often spend my free at the Jansen Art Center in Lynden, throwing pottery and creating art with fellow studio members. When I’m not playing with clay, I can usually be found outside; walking through the trees or along the river, hiking, floating, or just simply enjoying the view from my yard. I also enjoy gardening, baking, catching up on my favorite shows, and snuggling my kitties with my boyfriend.
